*dies laughing* I really needed this.

Oh yeah, and today is the anniversary of my first fanlist, Pint-Sized.

Life continues to get better. It wasn't my brother's car that got damaged, it was my parents' brand new car that they bought at Christmas, and the insurance money may end up being less than the car was worth. Yay.

Got back to the computer and saw an IM from my mom saying that my brother and dad were in a wreck, but it didn't say if they were ok or not, so I was horribly scared. Then I called, and my dad answered and told me what happened. Someone ran a stop sign, so it wasn't my brother's fault, and thankfully no one was hurt. But I was really scared, and still pretty shaky. Plus it might end up costing us a lot of insurance money, even though Bobby wasn't at fault. But I'm just glad they're alright. In other news, I have no idea how I can write a paper. My brain is a puddle of mush from everything that's happened in the last few days.

It's amazing what calling home and tons of rounds of ruthless-like-goldfish bingo with tinfoil-eaters can do for one's mood, but I still feel like a truck ran over me. My mind is a big, exhausted jumble, and I don't know if or when I'll ever sort through the pieces. It'll be better when I finish my crappy paper. In fact, my first step towards finishing my crappy paper will be... starting my crappy paper. I'll get right on that. Later. At least SNL comes on tonight; that's one of the things I look forward to every week. Got valentines from Ceri and some random trapezoid, and Mollness is finally back with a very pretty new layout of Karl. =)

I spent basically all day in bed. More beautimous signs from choi, blue, and clare, thanks guys. I hate school, I hate Texas, and I hate myself. Sorry for being depressing, hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day.

Tired. Tired body, tired brain, tired legs that have to keep walking to class. And my left pinky is also quite exhausted. I hate Valentine's Day, but things like these (Geamhradh Jackie Mollness) make it better - thanks guys! And Moll decided to brighten President's Day also. =)

This thing is addictive and great. Some words of wisdom that we gleaned...

"As you make your Choi, so must you lie in it."
"They that dance must pay the Alyssa."
"A man is known by the Dee he keeps."
"Do not wear out your Alyssa."
"No man can serve two Haldirs."
"Too many Chois spoil the broth."
"Dee come, Dee served."
"A man's home is his French Whore."
"Every family has a Choi in the closet."
"You cannot have your Legolas and eat it too."
"It takes Dee to tango."
"Spare the rod and spoil the Alyssa."
"Every man has his Choi."
"Never speak ill of the Bort."

And finally, my personal favorite, "When in doubt, do Aragorn."

Awww I got a cute valentine from Haldir's favorite girlfriend - besides Legolas. ;-) Class was dull, but I got good news from someone in one of my other classes. My 8-page paper was moved from Friday to Monday. *dances* I finished The Hours tonight, and it was very, very good. I'm dying to see the movie even more now; I wish it would come to Waco.

And I just want to share this picture that my dad told me to make. No action figures were harmed or molested in the process of setting up this photograph.

rotflmao in case anyone missed this hilarious Legolas/Ent slash story last time I linked to it, here it is for your reading pleasure. ;-)

Yay, the paper was easy to write, it's done, and I'm off to enjoy three hours of Pre-Raphaelite boringness! The best part was wandering off on a Waterhouse tangent last night with Alyssa, and rediscovering how much I love his painting of The Lady of Shalott. Back in highschool, I had a print of it on my wall, but I have no idea where it ran off to. And is this not beautiful? Waterhouse might have to be one of my new favorites, even though I know nothing about art apart from saying "Ohhh, pretty!" Being finished with this paper would feel a lot better if I didn't have to write an eight-pager tomorrow night. *kicks papers* Choi has a new layout of rarness. :-D

The Academy sucks. But that's just my opinion. Maybe some of them were just napping when they left TTT out of Director, Cinematography, Score, and Costume Design, to name a few. Yeah, that's it. Whores.

Thanks to Alyssa, I now know the meaning of life: eating fries.

Blah blah blah. The library couldn't test today, so they said to come back tomorrow. And my friend Stephanie from work said that my old manager Bonnie would like to have me back, so I said I'd let her know if the library job falls through. The prospect of returning to the gas station fills me with unquenchable joy. I've been a bum today and spent almost all of it in bed, but I don't care. I have to answer some study questions for my Oxford class tomorrow, and I guess I should get some sources soon for my papers due this week. I'll just be glad when I can get the hell away from this place. Despite the way this sounds, I'm actually in kind of a good mood. *thinks of butterflies and kittens*

Choi and I got on the subject of our favorite childhood toys, so for no reason at all, here is a picture of two of my favorites. The little monkey came from Audubon Park in New Orleans, and I named her Mega because I had heard the word but didn't know what it meant, so I thought it was a pretty and feminine name. Lambie was my first birthday present. When you wind her up, she plays "Mary had a Little Lamb" while her head moves around. So here are Mega and Lambie...

My other two favorites, which are back home in Mississippi, were Little Professor (an owl in a little tweed coat and glasses) and Mousie (I called her that even though her tag said "Nibbles"). Weirdly enough, Choi had that same toy, and also called it Mousie! Being a kid is a great, great thing. *travels back in time*

*dances about* I got a letter today from Waco Public Library, and they want me to go in tomorrow and take a test for a job at the circulation desk! eeeeek, I want this job! *dances more*

And my good friends Will and Kate are going to have a baby. :-D

Whoever applied to the fanlistings for Tig is evil, and I hope that person gets double-togged on a tag.

The play was really good - very funny. Choi told me that Dom and Billy wanted to perform it together, and having seen it, I only wish they could do it. They'd be perfect for it. The production we saw was really strange (but cool) because a woman played Rosencrantz. It wasn't that they made Rosencrantz the character into a woman, they just had a woman playing a man's role. I thought that was neat because in Shakespeare's time, women's roles were always played by men. So it was kind of a subtle wink at that history. All the actors did a great job, and I laughed a lot.

Before the play and during the intermission, Helen and I talked about Jane Austen. Her favorite Austen novel is Persuasion, and she was surprised to hear that mine is Mansfield Park. I said that I like it because of the very fact that it's unlikeable, which doesn't make much sense, I admit, but that's the only way I can explain it. I just love how ambiguous every single character is, so that each reread is more interesting than the last. But I should probably stop rambling.
