When I was a little kid, my parents would take my brother and me to the park every evening. My dad would walk around and jog for about an hour, and my mother would take us to a little bench and read to us from The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Sometimes we would walk in the woods, which were near a construction site that was always sending up smoke. We pretended that we were Robin Hood, Will Scarlet, and Big John (since Bobby wouldn't allow himself to be called "Little"), and my mom convinced us that the smoke was from a sleeping dragon. Bobby and I always tiptoed because we were so afraid of waking up the dragon.

When my parents discussed going to the park, they always spelled it out so we wouldn't get too excited. Eventually, though, we figured it out... mostly. We thought they were saying "P-R-K," so for ages, I thought the park's name was "The PRK." After we left The PRK, we'd stop by an ice cream shop on the way home. I miss my family. This has been a random nostalgic moment. I figured it would be better to pour my energy into that, rather than writing a bunch of frustrated crap, as I really felt like doing.

Called Gateway today, and they informed me that they won't compensate me for gas money, even though they didn't fix my computer and it will take me another 6 hours total driving to take it back there again. Gateway sucks. And since I'm completely broke, haven't paid any of my bills for March, and won't get a work paycheck for another few weeks, I won't exactly be able to get my computer fixed for a while. At least I have two papers to occupy me this week, that'll be fun. I hate life.

To end on a positive note . . . . erm . . . maybe if I can't pay my bills, I'll get kicked out of Waco? (Sorry, that's the best I can do right now)
