Thought I'd make a pointless blog post to declare that the new PotC trailer is rar. Very rar.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a bit. There isn't really much to say. I had the last two days off from work, which was very nice. Right now I'm about to leave for class, and then I have work 5-midnight. Pretty boring, actually. Hopefully I'll have something interesting to say soon.
If anyone wants to read a new story I've just begun, here it is. And no, I haven't lost my A/A-hating convictions; I had to use it for the story to work. ;-)

*falls off chair laughing* I especially enjoyed "Reasons Why Weasley is Pathetic" and "Who's the Most Hideous?" rotflmao the Sugarquill is utter greatness.
Edit: the SQ is back to normal now, so the joke links don't work.
Edited once again: they saved the April Fool's layout of greatness, and you can see it here. Unfortunately, the hilarious forum changes weren't saved, but the Draco-ized layout is still great.

Ah, an April Fool's joke. TORN sucks. This is more like my idea of a fun April Fool's joke. Make sure you click on "Good Ship R/H," "S.P.E.W.," and "W.A.I.L." I love the Sugarquill.

..................................................................................Los Angeles, CA, April 1, 2003 – New Line Cinema’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, will be held for domestic release until Wednesday, May 12, 2004. The effects work on this third and final film of the trilogy will surpass its predecessors in scope and intensity, and the producers as well as director Peter Jackson feel that the extra time will cement the film’s status as the king of fantasy films and the crowning jewel of New Line’s massive effort to bring J.R.R. Tolkien’s epic to the screen.

Mmmm, Sean.
Got another paper back today - the one I wrote on the Black Death. And I made an A on it too. :-D Maybe I can still do this stuff after all.
I have work tonight 5-midnight, then two days off.

To the person who found my blog by searching for "why?" I offer this special message: "because."
Work was interesting. I had main register again, and my coworker spent most of her time outside smoking and talking on the phone. When she finally came inside, she told me about how she's bisexual, some guy wants to kill her because she slept with his little sister, and her mom had just called to say that she's drunk and sang "Like a Virgin" at a karaoke bar. A little while later, the guy actually came into the store and started yelling at her to get the f--- out of his sister's f---ing life, etc etc. Then for some reason, he started threatening to kill her mother. I was quite feart, it was like being on Jerry Springer.
Then some old guy came in and said he was glad that "they finally got someone white workin' here. Them niggers they had before were too slow." After he said that, I pretended I didn't have change in my cash drawer, and made him wait several minutes for the safe timer to give me change. O:-) Ah well, he deserved it.
And now for a trip down memory lane...
*wipes tear* eloquent, isn't it? Be grateful for those ellipses after "breathtaking"; I actually edited out quiiiite a bit of the original gushing. ;-)march 29, 2002 | 5:28 pm
Well. Wow. Just..... wow. I'm going to make every effort to make this post coherent. I just saw the trailer for The Two Towers, and it was absolutely amazing and breathtaking... I'm going to need a thesaurus, because I'm trying to use grand-enough words to express how -- oh, what the heck, I'll repeat amazing -- this trailer is!I remember how thrilled I was that afternoon. When Shan and I walked out of the theater, I was all hyper and jumpy, and the minute we got home, I sent my mother what was probably the longest, most incoherent email I've ever written in my life lmao. That was a good, good day. I wish they had put a RotK trailer on the end of TTT.
Yay for surveys!
