Just got out of my last class for the week. :-D I have work tonight from 5-midnight, which is blehness, but I'm glad the weekend's here. I also get paid today, which means I can finally pay my rent. To cap it all off, I have a bag of chips. This weekend must be enjoyed, because next weekend I'll be working on not one, but two big papers that are both due on the 21st. Evil!
This morning on CNN I watched footage of Iraqi people celebrating and destroying images of Saddam. It was really moving to see their happiness, and I can say that even though I disagreed vehemently with the means, at least the ends were (mostly) good. I just hope this is over soon, but then, who doesn't want that?
In other news, I want Book 5. I neeeed Book 5!

First sign that DeeDee has the Precious back: she returns to her layout whoring ways. I've always loved this painting of the Lady of Shalott by Waterhouse. Add Loreena McKennitt singing the poem on Winamp, and this was the result. :-D
My story is on chapter 5 now. I'm having such a great time writing it. It's just nice to be writing again. Maybe someday, I'll actually go back to writing original stuff...
I had the day off from work, and I have tomorrow off too. Too bad three hours of tomorrow afternoon will be marred by the horror of all classes, Pre-Raphaelites. Ugh.
I'm getting more and more excited about Pirates of the Caribbean. The trailer is both rar and fun-looking, and it has great actors in it. I wish we'd start getting more information soon about the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia movies. Those are going to be greatness. =) It would also be nice to get a good RotK trailer (preferably with shots of Dernhelm and Faramir/Eowyn) and some images of Lupin and Sirius.
On this night last year, I was writing a paper on garden imagery in Isaiah. I'm glad this is April 8, 2003.

Operation "Iraqi Freedom":
Innocent civilians killed: 1,252
Innocent civilians wounded: 5,103
Prisoners of War: 7,000+I have to wonder what Operation Attack Iraq would be like.

My blog is boring. If you want to read something good, go read about Choi's amazing day!
I have work 9-4 today, which means I have to wake up in three hours. :-/ hmph. Ah well, I needed quality time with the Precious. My music, my pictures, my videos, my writing, eeeeeeeee! *clings to computer* Never leave me again, Computer. I've added a couple of new chapters to my odd story. And that concludes this blog post.
