Thoughts after watching tonight's Saturday Night Live: Adrien Brody is greatness. Jimmy Fallon is rar. Adrien Brody is greatness.

*yawns* Work was pretty good last night, actually. I trained a new girl, but luckily she was smart and barely needed any help at all. She was also nice and fun, so the night went by fast. Unlike that evil jerk I had to train a couple of weeks ago. *kicks him* Today I work 10-6, so off I run! =)

Yep, this post is boring. But if you wanted something exciting or profound, what made you come to my blog anyway? ;-)

ER = greatness. Romano finally told Corday that he loves her! After a few years of chemistry between them, it's about time! *sniff* Tonight was a great night for the few, the proud, the Romano/Corday shippers. *dances* It was also the show's 200th episode, and they started off with the same opening as the pilot. In the pilot, it showed Dr. Greene sleeping in the dark, and a nurse saying his name and turning on the light. Tonight they recreated the scene with Carter. It was most spiffy indeed. And.... Romano/Corday! *grins madly*

lmao now Alan Cumming is on Conan. What is this, X-Men night? To me, Alan will always be Mr. Elton from Emma. "Celery root!" rotfl and Conan just did the Anna Nicole impression. "Aaaaaaaah. Aaaaaah!"

lmao the Conan rerun tonight was greatness. It was the one where an audience member screams, "I love you, Conan!!" And he says, "....What the hell?! heh heh, I'll see YOU after the show." And then him and Matthew McCona... (nevermind, I have no clue how to spell his last name), where Matthew falls backwards and pulls Conan with him, and Conan says, "For those who are just tuning in, this is NOT what it looks like." rotflmao. Erm, sorry for sharing that bit of rambling induced by excessive Conan love.

Thank goodness this is the last assignment I have to do, because I have never cared about anything less. It takes every ounce of willpower I have (ok, which is not much, I admit) to keep forcing myself to stare at the blank pages in Word and type out sentence after boring sentence. Adjectives and adverbs, block quotes, and footnotes will be coming very much into play with this one, I can guarantee. On a completely random note, I love "Eden" by 10,000 Maniacs. Read the lyrics?

This site is really neat. It asks you to make a self portrait using 5 lines or less. This is my tragic result:

I know what you're thinking. "DeeDee is playing around in a sad attempt to procrastinate her paper." And you would be quite right.

Gah Shan has the first X-Men movie on tape, and I watched it. And I just want to say: Logan/Jean! *clings to them* What is it with me and unrequited romances? I love Jean Grey, she's greatness. And Logan/Jean is also greatness. I want to know more of the story, but gosh darn it, I don't like comic books. :'-( I wish there was a book or something I could get. Anybody know of one? Eek and Rogue is from Meridian! *clings to home*

New layout, funness. Hard to believe for anyone who knows me, but I've never done a Jane Austen layout. So here's Emma! =) Tonight I have to write an 8-page paper about cathedrals, blah blah. And tomorrow is my last day of class! I have a final on Thursday, and another next Monday, then this semester is mercifully over.
