lmao I don't think I'll ever recover from that Parma chat last night. But those RotK pics (and I'm sure the ice cream had something to do with it) tipped our mental balances, and we got really hyper over Sexy Rangers, Rockin' Rohirrim, Fair Elves, and Hot Hobbits. Disturbed, I tell you. I also added a link to Lhu, who was one of those responsible. As for the other two... you know who you are!
Got back from Down With Love a little while ago. It was so funny! And Ewan was rarness, as always. Very clever writing, and thanks to the ending twist, I'll have to see it again when it comes out on video.

Just got back from the Matrix, and it was great! I'm not a big fan of Keanu Reeves... ok, I'm not a fan at all. But he's pretty good in these movies. The characters of Trinity and Morpheus seemed a little weakened in part two, but I guess it's because in the first one, they're the ones teaching Neo, and in this one, he's so powerful, he makes them look bad. But I got the biggest chills when he reached into the matrix to heal Trinity. That was... *chills again* ...greatness. lol Hugo Weaving was great as Agent Smith, even though I kept seeing and hearing Elrond. I kept expecting him to tell Neo to go back to the place "from whence he came." My new favorite character, though, is Link. I love the actor who plays him -- the guy who played Mercutio in the new Romeo and Juliet. Zion was really neat, and I loved how one of the ships was called Logos. This one had a lot more philosophy in it, which I thought was cool for a blockbuster "action movie." Lots of predestination vs. free will stuff. And the meeting between Neo and the Architect used so many multi-syllable words, my eyes were crossing. Anyway, it's an exciting movie with brains (and a little tasteful, sweet pervyness thrown in), and I enjoyed it muchly. And the preview for part three at the end of the credits was very spiffy. :D

Interesting time at work last night. I have a new coworker named Scott, who has long blond hair, wears black leather chaps, and rides a Harley -- and who is smart, nice, and actually does all the shift duties. Then a little while before I got off work, some customer came in and told us to call the police. We went outside to see, and some woman had pulled off into our parking lot and just passed out in her front seat. Allison went to try to wake her, but the woman just raised her head a little, said something incoherent, and flopped her head back again, with her mouth gaping open. Allison said she just reeked of alcohol. The police got there with a fire truck and an ambulance (we thought it must be a slow night, to have that kind of show for one drunk woman), and even they were laughing. Finally, the paramedics saw they weren't needed and left, and the officer arrested her. She tried to get away, but she was just staggering around her car. I tried not to laugh, but it was really funny. We were just glad she decided to stop at our store, because she might have passed out as she hit the big intersection at our corner.

Ah, boringness. I think I did alright on the final, and with that, school is officially, completely, mercifully over. I also finally paid my rent. Now I have to go to work 3-11, after which I'll go through my email and then crash into bed. What a thrilling life I do lead, no?

..............................................................Here's an excerpt from the IGN E3 preview of EA's Return of the King (the one based on the movies)... Gamers can defend the walls of Minas Tirith in the role of the white wizard Gandalf; lead a noble army of reluctant soldiers through the Dead Swamps and in doing so raise the Army of the Dead in Aragorn's, Legolas', or Gimli's boots; and, using every ounce of constitution left in your body, you'll deliver the ring to the fiery depths of Mount Doom as Frodo and Sam... Kevin writes that this seems to imply that while the "Army of the Dead" is in, the Paths of the Dead may be out; in EA's game at least.
The conclusion seems correct to me, in the EA game Aragorn will raise the Army of the Dead from the Dead Marshes. But whether that would apply to the movie as well definitely remains to be seen.
..............................................................
..............................................................
..............................................................And that basically sums up my thoughts.
