I should have known that it would be Clare who would have the honor of showing me the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

So. Tired. I worked 6-midnight alone last night, so I couldn't do the shift duties, and I knew we had a big inspection today by the area manager. I was scheduled to work 7-5 today and planned to stay up all night anyway, so I asked my manager if I could stay at the store overnight and clean it up really well. So I did that, and luckily she lives just down the block, so she let me go over to her house and take a bath at around 5 am. Finally at 2 this afternoon, I called Shan and asked her to take me home, so here I am. I'm exhausted, and every part of me hurts like hell, especially my feet and back. lol my timesheet will be really funny, and it's going to look like a mistake, because it's going to show me clocked in for 20 hours. Overtime, baby! That's the good part, I'll have 10 hours of overtime this week. =)
Believe it or not, despite the exhaustion, today was a really good day. I'm about to go to bed and not wake up for an incredibly long time. Mmmm, and it's raining, nice to fall asleep to. =) Adios. *collapses*

Gah, I just read the most exquisite passage I've ever found in a fanfic. Celeborn reflecting on Galadriel:
The touch of her mind drew away. If he followed he could sense Lorien - every flower, every glade, every hind that lifted a startled head to snuff the wind. Running through the whole country, as softly as fallen rain, flowed the golden power of Galadriel. With that influence, but brighter, stranger, and to his mind less trustworthy, twined the strength and white brilliance of Nenya.
*dies* Beautiful writing. Beauuuutiful. That particular passage is from this story by Marnie, Battle of the Golden Wood. She also has a wonderful Celeborn/Galadriel romance in progress, Oak and Willow.
Now I have to go to the blahness of work.

Joys of Work, Episode #147: Nine hour shift alone because coworker fails to show up. Old lady who counts out $12 worth of nickels while a line wraps around the store.
This episode brought to you by the new Sprite Remix - refreshing and tasty!

Ah, my blog archive. How I love it.
Our round robin, which is now unofficially named Angst, I believe, has completely affected my view of LotR and the characters. Whenever I read passages from the books or watch the TTT trailer (which I do more often than I care to admit...), I wonder where Nilram and Rian are. Their characters are just as real to me as Aragorn, Gandalf, and Frodo. Rian is so perfect for Aragorn, and whenever I read about Eomer in the books, I just think, Awww! And I can never look at Legolas the same way again. So here's to Angst. Tolkien would be horrified, but then again, this is the guy who crossed out his plans to marry Aragorn to Eowyn. I think blue, Alyssa, and I know what we're doing. Except for that whole inventing a language thing. We haven't done that. Yet.
Ah, the warm fuzzy feeling of a Shakespearean insult! Thou spleeny weak-hinged rampallion!
Go to Clare's blog to read about her freaky dream about Ozzy Osbourne, eyeballs, and swimming cows administering lethal injections!
Awww to the Angst thing, and rotflmao at Clare.
