Yipes, I went to bed after work and had the most horrible dream. At least, it shows how geeky I am that this was considered a horrible dream...

I was playing Eliza in My Fair Lady at the theater in my old college, except that the theater suddenly seated thousands instead of fifty. It started off fine, but then it turned out that I didn't know any of the lines. For some reason in the dream, I hadn't been to rehearsal in about a month. So I was just standing in front of all these people - and I could see some of my favorite professors in the crowd - with no clue what to say or do.

Then there was an intermission, and I was backstage searching frantically for a copy of the script. In walks my highschool chorus teacher, who for some reason was the director of the play. She says it's the worst performance she's ever seen, then walks out.

After that, the play somehow turned into Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and I didn't want to go back out on stage. I was hiding in a costume room. And then I woke up.

Er.... gah, that was awful. Much more of a nightmare (to me) than my usual bad dreams.

Well, what can I say? Pirates was great fun. :D Not the most impressive cinematic achievement in history, but a very entertaining movie - and that's what I went to see. Johnny Depp was in top form, though I still love him most in Benny and Joon. His odd swagger and mannerisms were fun to watch. Geoffrey Rush is always great. Orlando Bloom was hotness - but also had the talent and screen presence required to make his ordinary, earnest blacksmith of equal interest as the colorful Jack Sparrow. The minor characters were great, especially the guy with the Mad-Eye-Moody complex. The part with the fork... eeeeesh. ;-) All in all, I had a blast, and I'd like to see it again.

Boringness. Spent the day at work. Customers suck. Lazed about on the computer. If you're interested in my various fandom rambles for the day, visit my LJ. Now going to bed. G'night!

Orli: "They gave me my bow and arrow after the last shot and they cut together a little clip of "leggy" moments from the movie. There's this bit- they played it to me - you know the eighties that kind of song like "Hungry Eyes?" . . . So it's like Viggo pulling his sword, then there's me going [he bats his eyes]. It was so funny! [laughter] It was this whole homoerotic thing and Ian's going [he pantomimes argh]!"

.......................rotflmao.

I want to see that. We must see that, Precious.
