Work was boring and slow, but passed quickly. I talked to blue on the phone for about an hour while I stocked the cooler, and she laughed at me when I dropped a bottle of Welch's grape juice on my head! I also tried to tell her about the drink of greatness that is Big Red. Stupid Wisconsin people. *shakes head* Got a beautimous Christmas card from Choi. :-D

Another exciting night in Bingo chat. Alyssa and I sort of made up a disturbing soap opera as we went along, and I think it went like this. She was married to a man named Val, and they had four kids. But Val cheated on her with two people: John (with whom he somehow had Orli), and me, whom he later married, and who burned off his Little Val in 1996. Angry and bitter, Alyssa murdered Val in what she claimed was an "accident." I (naturally) refused to give her bail, and she was sentenced to life, with the possibility of parole. But she angered a prison guard, so that's unlikely. We slowly revealed this fascinating drama in the chat at Bingo table 6, in the presence of someone named Evelyn, who either ignored us, was entertained, or was too scared to say anything to us. Upon leaving that table, we also saw good old Derek, but we didn't say anything to him. Before Bingo, we played Battleship, and I must say publicly that I witnessed the killing of many whales and dolphins by Alyssa. She has no conscience!

The official site for Pirates of the Caribbean is up, and you can watch the trailer. But it's not very good, it's just a teaser, with no actors or anything in it. :-/

rotflmao... Orli is so in love with Viggo. Sample quote: "I can't believe how much this is going to make me sound like I'm in love with the guy." Well... yes. Yes it does, Orli. But I love that he was taking a walk with Viggo's son. Sweetness. And the thing about "having a Viggo moment." Orli's so cute. :-D And dare I say it? He has the finest taste in men. *runs*

I don't have to be at work till 4 today, which is nice. =) Played chess with Alyssa yesterday after work, and finally beat her after about 80 moves. Then... Ah, sleep. It was so very wonderful.

I fell asleep towards the end of watching Wilde for the first time, and I must say that it was very good, even though it jumped around too much at the beginning. The fact that I fell asleep at the end means nothing, because at that point I had been awake for 32 hours. I've always loved Stephen Fry, and he was just brilliant. All through the movie, there were lines and ideas from Wilde's plays, and it was fun to try to catch them, kind of like Shakespeare in Love. Awww and Jennifer Ehle was in it! She was great. Orli was cute in it, with his little gay hat, blowing his cigarette smoke so cockily. And Jude Law.... rar! *steals him and Orli the rentboy*

And I simply can't believe that I missed John Leguizamo on Conan! *bangs head* So much potential laughter, just lost and thrown away! I can only hope that Alyssa tortured blue enough for the both of us.

Hildigunnur is extremely lucky, and I will not be jealous. No, I will not be... gah! She said that Rohan is greatness, Aragorn and Eowyn have a lot of chemistry, the Legolas/Gimli stuff is hilarious, and Legolas is "powerful." sdofu sldkfoi xcvoij!!!

Finally, I just got my Christmas card from blue. Awww... it's Piglet! *clings to it*

......Beeeeed...... my precioussss *falls into it*

Alyssa did some research on the greatness of the actors in A Christmas Story, and in doing so, found the imdb file of my favorite actor of all time: David Svoboda. "I like Santa. I like the Wizard of Oz. I like the Tinman." Awww and the little boy who played Randy only did one other movie. Randy is greatness, and here are his quotes to prove it:

- "Awww geeee.'
- "I can't put my arms down!"
- "Heeeey kid! .... I can't get up. I can't get up!!!"
- "Meatloaf, meatloaf, double beatloaf. I hate meatloaf."
- "Randy lay there like a slug. It was his only defense."
- "Wowee! It's a zeppelin!!"

That movie is possibly the funniest movie ever made.

Papers are evil. Conan learning to be a department store Santa is hilarious. I love Viggo Mortensen. Got this quiz from Molly...

You are a narrative writer. Usually a writer of stories rather than poetry, you grew up reading Shakespeare's less popular and heard of plays--like King Lear or the Henry series. Your writing contains a certain order and organization--be it chronological or otherwise. If you are to write poetry, it has to convey a logical (or perhaps unreal) story with some sort of order behind it.
What's Your Writing Style?

Tonight was a night of much goodness and happiness. *clings to blue* :-D And for those who didn't know, Choi writes Kenny G/Michael Bolton porn in bingo chats, and Alyssa shared this with us: "going into a bingo hall thing is probably one big old people orgy." Definitely one of the most disturbing chats I've ever participated in, and I am most shocked at Miss Alyssa King. And to the guy who wished us Merry Christmas - we found Derek!

rotflmao. For everyone who either a) wants to see Orli boxing, b) wants to see Elijah, in Frodo costume, singing the Spice Girls in a chipmunk voice or c) both a and b, download this clip from wotr.net. Other spiffy clips are here, like a warg thing, utter Faramir wrongness, and the actors recording their voices for the video game. :-D

Work was sooo boring. And I'm tired. I'm about to go to bed. *blocks thoughts of paper*

Yay! Alyssa's blog is back with the spiffyness of Elijah, and blue has a beautimous new Orli layout. :-D In less happy news, I will be at work in three hours. :-/

Well, this afternoon was my last class of the semester. =) When I got back, my A/E poster had come in the mail, and I was so excited I almost tore it when I put it in the frame. *angel smile* It's my precioussss... *clings to it*

On a more serious note, inspiration is a strange thing. You have a flash of it, and sort of a high, like I had last week, and then it kind of fades to the back of your mind. But it's still there, and it still makes you smile. And if you dwell on it for a little longer, like I did when creative writing got boring, the excitement and motivation all come back in a rush. It's sort of like a well, and whenever you feel depressed or discouraged, you can think about it and realize that you have a purpose. You figured it out, and someday you'll do it. That's a nice feeling, especially after over a year spent feeling empty and useless. It's also great when everything else is stressful, but this thing is enough to make you happy, even though it's only an abstract idea. :-D

Eeeee! TORN has the music video of "Gollum's Song" to download!

Last night was awful. I went to bed hours and hours before I normally do, due to a migraine and nausea. Then I slept many hours, which was nice. In a couple hours, I leave for my last class of the semester, creative writing. I've got work at 7-2 tomorrow, then 1-10:30 on Wednesday, and sometime in there I have to finish the final draft of my paper, to hand in on Thursday. *pulls at collar* I think I can, I think I can...

Work was boring. One of the regular homeless guys asked me why I didn't have a boyfriend, then said, "You should have one, you're not that ugly!" I cracked up. Then I got home and watched SNL with Alyssa. :-D *runs from radioactive bears* After that, I sort of stared blankly at the screen for a while, then had an exciting time playing... Bingo. Yes, truly. First, I played Grafitti with Moll and Choi, then we got tired of that and went to try Bingo. From that experience, I can say that B12 is a whore, and I know Choi would agree. On our third game, some guy named "Bluntmaster" joined the table. He asked us if Maine and Mississippi were neighboring states, made sure we knew that Ontario is in Canada, and described to Choi how he grows a mysterious kind of weed under candescent light. He also told me that he's been to Mississippi, and when I asked him where he visited, he replied "forest." Meanwhile, Choi and I talked about my boyfriend Viggo and his friend Billy. lmao towards the end, he asked us if any of us were actually playing Bingo, and we were like, "....Yes?" So apparently he was a random loser who goes into Bingo chats and lies about growing weed to pick up women. Sad, very sad.
