| saturday, march 23Yay! Time for Saturday Night Live -- my favorite show!! *happy dance*
Loved seeing Harry Potter again this afternoon. I love Ron! He's so.... so.... Ron. And I've been chatting for a long time with a crazy group of girls who crack me up. We've been alternatively swooning over Viggo, Dom, Billy, and Orli. Which fine Fellowship man was I representing? Hmmm..... could it be..... VIGGO? I also took yet another one of those fun LotR character quizzes. This time I was Gandalf. I've never gotten him before. So, let's see. My personality is now split between Gandalf, Eomer, Eowyn, Faramir, and Aragorn. And wonderful Chrissy made me an Aragorn fansign! *sigh*
Happy happy joy joy!! I just found out that our theater will have LotR next Friday, so I get to see the trailer for The Two Towers! I'm so excited! Also, our dollar theater has finally gotten Harry Potter; I'd like to see that one more time on the big screen. Ickle Ronniekins saving the day in the chess scene.... awww! Anyway, the happy LotR news came just in time to partly distract me from an autograph I found on Amazon Collectibles: Viggo in A Perfect Murder. *slaps hand* No, DeeDee! No! I've just added a link to my favorite blogs to visit, appropriately titled, "Better Blogs Than Mine." =)
Just added a "10 favorites lines" section to my books page, rearranged and changed my favorite characters, and fixed an out-of-date link on the movies page. For the information of those who care, Miramax no longer has a page for Life is Beautiful! I decided to go ahead and switch over to the new Rohan lay-out, but I kept my Bag End design too, because I like it and I plan to use it again. I'd like to try to change my main page at least once a week to different scenes from Middle-Earth. One advantage to this new lay-out is that I remembered to include a link to my "Pathetic Crushes on Fictional Characters" page. How I could forget that, I'll never know. ;-) *yawn* Well, I guess I better go to bed. It's almost 3:00. My dad thinks I have insomnia, but isn't insomnia when you want to go to sleep and can't? I stay up late because I want to... I love night-time. I feel more relaxed and creative at night. I can concentrate better on a paper at 2 AM than I can at 7 PM. But now I think I'm ready to turn in for the night. Till tomorrow, then! (though it technically IS tomorrow, but never mind that)

friday, march 22I just made a new front page lay-out with the Rohirrim, and mountains in the background. I definitely plan to use it because I like it, but I think I'll keep Bag End for a little while longer.
JOY JOY JOY!! Just checked the mail, and my copy of Errant Vine was there! It's #143 out of 300, signed by Viggo in blue pen.... JOY JOY JOY!!
Okay, I just added a little thing-a-ma-jig where people can comment on my posts. So, assuming that anyone besides myself is actually reading this, leave me some comments every now and then (pretty please!!). =) Just added a fun link to my LotR links page -- someone told the entire story of Fellowship of the Ring in Lego!
Shannon and I just got back from the Mexican restaurant where we had lunch yesterday with Cassie. Shan had to go over there with her receipt because the waiter charged her bank account twice for the meal. I just took a quiz that tells you which evil criminal you are, and I was Jack the Ripper! All I did was answer "no" to every question (truly! I do not have minions, and nations do not fear me! LOL) except one, "Can you spell?" So that's the distinguishing trait of Jack the Ripper, is it? Let that be a warning to the proud parents of spelling bee champions. Your child could be the next Jack the Ripper!
Hee hee!  You're that evil little piece of jewelry that corrupts almost everything it touches and recites poetry in the Black Tongue on its days off. Cool. With that troubling thought (!!), I'm going to bed. And I get to sleep late.... no more classes till Tuesday! *Snoopy dance*
Conan was hilarious, as always. Elijah talked about how he, Sean, Dominic, and Billy referred to themselves as "the Hobbits." He also told Conan about "the Hobbits" going to Sydney with Orlando Bloom to visit the Star Wars set. Wish he'd mentioned Viggo, but I guess not everyone is as obsessed as I am. And that's a good thing! ... Edited to add, "Oh yeah, it's tomorrow now, isn't it?"
thursday, march 21Watching Robin Williams on Jay Leno. What on earth is he wearing??? I'm waiting to see Elijah Wood on Conan. I'm going to tape it just in case he talks about LotR. =)
Right now I'm chatting with the awesome people from the Musings of Viggo message board! Went to WalMart a couple of hours ago and bought some ice cream. Yummy!! Shannon's upset because her froggie just died. RIP, Gomer. I added a little "imood" thingee to my index page. So many addictions, so little time.
*sniff* My signed copy of Viggo Mortensen's Errant Vine should be coming in any day now, but it didn't come in today's mail. Oh well, maybe tomorrow....
I guess I'll use this thing to record my updates on the site. I add and change things every day, but I've never done an update page or anything like that. So, there you have it. I have found a purpose for my blog. To properly kick off my resolution to record updates, I therefore record this: added link to "blog/updates/rambling" on my index page. Yay!
Well, I finally joined the masses and got myself a blog. I'm not sure exactly what to put here, so, er.... hmmm. I just got out of Christian Literary Classics with Dr. Wood. We're studying the poetry of George Herbert, a contemporary of John Donne. I have to say that I prefer Donne. This morning I took a quiz that tells you which Rainbow Brite character you are... I was Indigo. As soon as my roommate Shannon gets out of her class, we can go eat lunch. Good thing, too, because I'm starving. Ya know, this blog thing is at once pointless, yet fun. Could get addictive. But I am no stranger to addictions. =)
