Today we did our weekend touring in the vans. Our first stop was Rosh Hanikra, a gorgeous place on the coast where the British dug tunnels in the 40s. There was a cheesy movie that talked about “the stormy love affair between rock and sea.” It was hilarious.
Then we went to the Crusader castle at Acre, which was pretty neat. We had to take a long, hot walk through the chaotic streets of Akko.
At Haifa we visited some beautiful holy gardens dedicated to some guy I can’t remember.
Next was Dor, but we didn’t care much about the tel. We played in the Mediterranean Sea. There were these coves and ledges where the water lapped at your ankles, and every now and then a big wave would splash you up to your waist.
We stopped for supper and just got back and I’m tired!
