Welcome to the fanlisting for Lady Jane Grey, the intelligent and virtuous teenager who became the pawn of corrupt people in their plot to steal the throne of England from the rightful heir, Mary I. She was forced by her parents and their allies into a loveless marriage and a political position she never wanted. Jane reigned as Queen of England for only nine days in July of 1553, and she was executed on February 12, 1554, in order to prevent any further plots to put her on the throne.
