Miss Woodhouse lets me chatter on, so good-humouredly.

Jan 27, 2003 Hi! My real name is Edea, though my family and friends have been calling me DeeDee since the day I was born (9/19/79). In May 2001, I graduated from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, MS with a double major in religion and English and a minor in biblical languages. I will complete my MLS through online courses at The University of Alabama. I currently work in the Special Collections department in the library at Mississippi State.

I was born in a tiny Louisiana fishing village called Golden Meadow, where I attended the Lower Elementary. My family moved to Mississippi when I was eight. I went from 3rd to 10th grade in the Quitman School District. In 11th and 12th grade, I attended the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, though I like neither math nor science. Go figure. I was also a delegate to the 1995 session of the Mississippi Governor's School.

My parents recently retired from Quitman High School; my dad taught world history and art, and my mom taught English. My brother Bobby (30) is a genius on the guitar and works as an electrical engineer for Peavey, designing amps other musical equipment. My sister Emma died on July 23, 2011, at 22 years old. My younger sister, Martha, is married to John Holt, and they gave me a niece that I love times a million.

My personality type is INFJ, based on the Myers-Briggs test. The MB is also known as the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, which you can take online. By the also eerily accurate Enneagram test, I'm a Type 4w5.

According to the death clock, I have until Sunday, December 1, 2058. =)
