4/19/06 - Sorry, busy week! Lack of updates! Anyway,
we've got three new affiliates!
Synopsis is finally almost done, and I've started
work on the characters page. You won't see any of that on the site for
a while, I have to work on it some more. It'll be up soon, though! Stay
tuned!

4/10/06 - Well, I started having problems already
with the free server, and most of the site was actually down for a while,
so I decided I didn't want to deal with that. So without Much Ado, I announce
that we are now hosted by much-ado.net!
A huge thanks to DeeDee over there for allowing this! Her Jane Austen fanlisting
is also one of my affiliates, so be sure to check it out! Also, welcome
my newest affiliate, Simply
Keira! I added a few more buttons of various sizes and replaced the
tagboard with a Cbox (there were no comments yet anyway). So be sure to
let me know what you think!

4/9/06 - Synopsis and character pages still aren't
done, but I'm working on them, I promise. Please welcome my newest affiliate,
Misjudgements!
Go check out the site!

4/6/06 - You may now welcome my awesome new affiliates
to the site! There are five so far. Click to the left and go to their sites!
And please e-mail me if you'd
like to affiliate! Just make sure your site is related in some way! Want
to help me get this site out there? Grab a code to the right. If you don't
like the way those ones look, go to the linkage page. I'm constantly adding
more, and I have other standard sizes as well. The graphics page is now
up, and while there isn't much on it right now, like the rest of the site,
it will continue to grow. Still working on the synopsis and characters
page. Hopefully I'll have them done in the next day or two! Please comment
on the tagboard! I'd really like to know what everyone thinks! Give me
feedback, good and bad! Thanks!

4/4/06 - Well, I did some research and found that
there are indeed many other fansites pertaining to Jane Austen and Pride
& Prejudice. Some of them are truly fantastic. I wish my little site
here could measure up. Anyway, I'm changing around the layout and graphics
a little bit here and there, so you might see some small things come and
go. Mostly I'm all set with that for now, though, and am working on the
site content. Graphics (such as my feeble attempts at blends, desktops
and other things) are coming soon, as well as character info and full synopsis.
Also a links and (hopefully) affiliates section. I'm also looking for someone
who might be willing to host the site, since cjb.net involves lots of pop-ups
and ads and is kind of a pain to use. Let me know if you'd be interested
in hosting me! Anyway, stay tuned, the site is starting to come together!

4/2/06 - I started making the site today. So far
I haven't found any other fansites for Pride & Prejudice at all, for
the book or any of the movies. I found that very surprising. I'm sure they're
out there, I just thought they would be more obvious. But anyway, at least
there's one site out there. My developing relationship with Jane Austen
is not quite so "fan" like as it would seem from this site. I read some
of her books in class when I was younger, and I never thought much of them.
I've always been a fantasy buff, especially Lord of the Rings, but as I
continue to get older and continue to mature, I find myself more and more
intriuged by cheesy love stories. I find that if you get past the cheesy
part, the characters are a great example of what people strive to be like,
and it gives me motivation to try and be like that. Jane Austen essentially
wrote the original cheesy love story. I recently watched the new Pride
& Prejudice movie with Kiera Knightley and Matthew MaCfayden. It made
me rethink Jane Austen, and now I'm reading all her books again, but this
time for my own enjoyment. I thouroughly enjoyed the movie, however, and
that is why all the graphics on this site are focused around it. I think
that whenever I read a Jane Austen novel, I'm going to be picturing the
Pride & Prejudice movie. At least for a while. Anyway, I eluded to
this earlier, but I think I finally need to tell you what I really want
this site to be about. Everyone always says that the characters in Pride
& Prejudice are so intriguing because of how human they are. I couldn't
agree more. To me, most of them are exactly the way people should be, and
in the end, they end up the way I think people should end up. The books
have such a realistic feeling. That is what I want to focus on here. The
realness of the story and its characters. I'll also talk about the movie
a lot. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site. If there's not much on here yet,
give it time. More content will be added regularly, and before long there
will be a wealth of information on the site. Please get in touch with me
and let me know what you think, and if you'd like to contribute to the
site I'd love that! Contact me!
